Multi-family ADU Guide from Casita Coalition

Many of the homeowners we assist live on property that is zoned “single-family.” However, some folks live on properties that are zoned “multi-family” and that’s what the recently published Guidelines for ADUs on Multi-Family Properties from the statewide nonprofit Casita Coalition is all about.

Under the 2020 California state laws, properties zoned for multi-family are eligible to build even more ADUs per parcel. This is an excellent way for owners of these properties to maximize their return on investment, and also build more much-needed housing for our friends, family, and workforce.
