Are you a housing professional? Then you’ve come to the right place!

Here’s how to get added to our vendor registry:

Who we are: The Napa Sonoma ADU Center is a nonprofit organization seeking experienced, motivated, and trustworthy professionals to help homeowners build accessory dwelling units (ADUs). Our mission is to help homeowners in Napa and Sonoma Counties build accessory dwelling units by providing homeowners with education, resources, and information regarding ADUs.

The invitation: We invite you to join our registry of professionals interested in playing a role in the design, financing, constructing and other elements of work required to build ADUs and Junior ADUs.

Professionals who submit the requested materials and information will be included along with their company name and contact information on our website at our Vendor Registry page. The two-step process takes about 20-40 minutes — and once you are added to our website, your company will be featured with the tens of thousands of homeowners we outreach to across Napa and Sonoma Counties.

The Why & How: One of the most common requests we get from homeowners is assistance with finding their professional team. Please note that the Napa Sonoma ADU Center’s role is limited to serving as an objective resource for homeowners and to help them ask the right questions to inform their decisions. The contract for services is ultimately between each homeowner and their chosen professional team. Once a homeowner engages their professionals, we are available to help answer the homeowner’s questions on an as-needed basis along the way.

Types of vendors: Right now, we are accepting submissions from architects, designers, general contractors/builders, and prefab companies. Very soon, we will also be accepting submissions from geotech engineers, Title 24 consultants, septic consultants, property management companies, loan officers, mortgage brokers, and more. 

What happens next: Once you have successfully completed the form below and submitted the requested materials, you will receive notice if you have met the criteria to be added to our vendor registry on our website. We may follow up with you if we have questions about any of the information you provide or to learn more about you and your work. We are looking forward to getting to know you!

Is there a catch? Nope. All we’re doing is adding your company information to our website if you meet our basic due diligence criteria, to make it easier for Napa & Sonoma County homeowners to find high-quality folks to help them with their ADU project!

Step #1: Questionnaire forms for vendors

If you are an architect, designer, general contractor/builder, or prefab company and would like to be included on our vendor registry on our website, please first complete the questionnaire form below. Some tips:

  • You can complete more than one questionnaire below if your business covers more than one vendor type.

  • We estimate it will take you about 15-30 minutes to complete the questionnaire. You’ll need to have on hand information about your company’s:

    • Licensing (if applicable to your vendor type)

    • Insurance

    • Number of both ADUs and/or ground-up residential builds permitted and completed in Napa and Sonoma Counties

    • Three homeowner references (from ADU and/or ground-up residential builds). These are just for us to do our due diligence, they will not be shared. The photos you email us (see below) should be of the homeowner references’ projects, just for our due diligence.

  • Soon we will also have questionnaires for septic consultants, geotech engineers, Title 24 consultants, lenders, mortgage brokers, property management companies, and more!

Step #2: After completing the form(s), please email us the following additional information:

  1. Photos of your three completed homeowner reference projects clearly indicating the name and contact information associated with the corresponding sets of photos (from ADU and/or ground-up residential builds, these will NOT be posted on our website);

  2. Proof of industry standard insurance as enumerated in the questionnaire relevant to your vendor type(s); and

  3. If applicable to your vendor type(s), proof that your license is current and in good standing. Examples:

Use subject line “Vendor Submission [Insert Your Company Name + Vendor Type(s)]” and please send the above to info@napasonomaadu.org.

We estimate it will take you an additional 10 - 15 minutes to complete this email submission. Thank you for your time!
