NEW ADU laws going into effect Jan 2023!
There are some notable changes on the horizon that will make it easier for you to build your ADU – four new state ADU laws will kick in starting January 2023, plus your city and county Housing Element plans, all of which improve upon existing local ADU ordinances, policies and programs to better support you with your ADU project. Check out more details from the nonprofit Casita Coalition on the new laws including front setback changes, height changes, and more.
